Sears promised a new oven element and glass top element by Wednesday to GP on the phone...of course...he neglected to ask what month or year....so .... my children are going to be treated to Turkey Dinner at Fort Henry on mum and dad's dime...sigh....it won't be the same...you can't get up and go back and pick at the turkey while you are cleaning up....but on the upside there will be no cleaning up to do :) hopefully my element will be in by Christmas otherwise Santa is getting me a new stove and that means the new camera will be on hold :-(. the stove is breakie truman says "breakie" instead of broken, he has trouble with long 'o' sounds. and indeed, we have some major breakie here at the house. jonathan -- while putting clean dishes away, ones that he had washed during a huge kitchen cleanse -- dropped a big pot on the glass-top stove and breakie it. replacement top is $100 -- two burners work well and the third works with a slight amount of mental discomfort. i'm unable to pull the trigger on replacement due to my hope that we're due to discover the gas stove of my dreams, instead. clean glass top stoves Ready-Select Controls: Easily select options with the touch of a button.
